Legacy Trust Welcomes Barbara Paneral
Grand Rapids, Michigan, June 10, 2009 – Barbara B. Paneral has joined Legacy Trust as director of marketing and sales.
Paneral brings nearly 25 years of sales, marketing and management experience in banking and brokerage services to her new role with Legacy Trust, West Michigan’s leading trust-only bank. She will coordinate all sales and marketing activities in Legacy Trust’s Grand Rapids and Holland offices.

Her past experience includes sales, marketing and professional management to high net-worth individuals, developing and delivering training and educational seminars, event planning and marketing communications. She joins Legacy Trust from Smith Barney, where she served as a group administrator and financial advisor, assisting a brokerage group in the development of sales opportunities.
Her previous experience with financial institutions includes works with First Trust Bank, Northern Trust, Comerica Bank, Kemper Financial Services, Bank of America and Sovereign Bank.
Active in the community, she serves as a special events volunteer with the Gerald R. Ford Museum and the Grand Rapids Art Museum. She is an active member of the U.S. Tennis Association and the senior community events coordinator for the Forest Hills Eastern High School Theater Boosters.
Paneral holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She also studied business at the University of Madrid in Madrid, Spain.
A native of Philadelphia, she currently resides in Grand Rapids Township with her husband, Steve. The couple has three children.
