One Man’s View on Money

By

When it comes to wealth planning, it is easy for some of us to become consumed with the preservation and accumulation of assets, rates of return and cash flows.  We perceive the more we accumulate, the better prepared and happier our will future be.

This story from Marketplace called “My Money Story: Eustace Conway, off the grid” is a counter point to the above paragraph.  He is one man that has found happiness outside the norm.   His story made me pause for a moment and reflect on my own views about money, happiness, security and the future as well as gaining a perspective that sometimes having less is more.
